Murdaugh is accused of fatally shooting his wife, 52-year-old Maggie Murdaugh, and son, 22-year-old Paul Murdaugh, on June 7, 2021.

Yesterday jurors heard evidence that gunshot residue was found inside a rain jacket found at his mother’s home three months after his wife and son were killed.
