NBC’s 11th Season of “The Voice” featured 29-year-old Chicagoan Sa’Rayah, whose audition on the Sept. 19 premiere — an acapella rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Drown in My Own Tears” — spun judges Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys around in their chairs. It would be the beginning of a wonderful ride for the single mother who grew up in Cabrini Green. Though eliminated Nov. 15, doors are now opening for the hometown hero pursuing a singing career, and she’s headed back to perform on the show’s Dec. 13 finale.
