When Chris Mathis found Woodrow Wilson Jr.’s 37-year-old savings bonds tucked away in a dusty drawer at Jack & Dick’s Pawn Shop in Junction City, Kansas, he made it his mission to get them back in the hands of Wilson, a U.S. Army veteran living on the streets of Chicago. Mathis’ yearlong search ended on Friday afternoon.
