A First Midwest Bank branch was robbed Friday morning in south suburban Matteson.
FBI agents were responding about 11:40 a.m. to the takeover bank robbery at the First Midwest Bank branch in the 4600 block of Lincoln Highway, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.
Additional information was not immediately available.
