City Department of Health Commissioner Julie Morita and Chicago Public Schools Chief Forrest Claypool discuss results of the district’s lead-testing pilot program in the wake of the Flint water crisis. Testing at 32 CPS for lead found lead in the drinking water of one South Side school — Tanner Elementary — so the district is expanding testing to all 630 schools. Morita says there’s no need to fear a Flint situation in Chicago.
