A Cook County sheriff’s correctional officer was convicted Thursday of ordering two inmates to beat up another detainee and hitting the teenage victim with her police radio.

“You want to hurt yourself? “I got something for you,” Pamela Bruce allegedly taunted the suicidal Cook County Jail inmate on Feb. 9, 2012.

Bruce’s partner, Delphia Sawyer, took the stand against her “friend” earlier Thursday, admitting that she also kicked Kyle Pillischafske that evening, causing trauma to his forehead and right eye.
