A person has been wounded in a shooting Thursday night at a Red Line station in the Loop.

The shooting happened about 7:45 p.m. at the Jackson Red Line station at 230 S. State, according unconfirmed police scanner reports.

One person was stuck and was on a Red Line train at the station, according to the reports.

Red Lines trains were halted at Jackson due to police activity, according to a CTA alert.
